With our continued expansion, NRCS Inc. is looking for professionals to provide vocational services in the Kingston and Ottawa regions.   NRCS Inc. is a national disability management company with offices across Canada. As an industry leader, we offer a full complement of medical assessments and disability management interventions.  Our clients include WSIB, the insurance industry, corporate Canada and government agencies.

 

Successful applicants must be willing to travel, have excellent writing, computer, communication and assessment skills.  Training is provided.  NRCS provides a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

 

Responsibilities Include:

§         Coordinate Labour Market Re-entry programs, Job Search Training programs, Transferable Skills Analyses, Vocational Assessments

§         Liaise with worker, employer and medical community

§         Monitor and assess worker’s progress

§         Coordinate all available information/recommendations

 

Qualifications:

§         B.A. in Psychology, Education, Social Work or other related fields

§         Experience in social service field is required

§         RRP designation is an asset

§         Ottawa:  Must be bilingual (English and French)

§         Kingston:  Bilingualism (English and French) will be an asset

Acclaim is a national disability management company, serving auto insurers, long-term disability carriers, and employers for over a decade. We are hiring an Ability Management Consultant to work in our Head Office in Toronto.

 

Main duties include:

 

-                      Adjudicating short-term disability claims

-                      Providing supportive vocational and medical case management for absent     employees

-                      Developing and implementing Return to Work Programs

-                      Liaising with medical practitioners, treating clinicians, union representation, and management

 

The ideal candidate will have:

-           1-3 years experience in vocational rehabilitation and/or kinesiology

-           A university degree in Health Sciences or a related field of study

-           The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team of professionals

-           WSIB experience is an asset
